He has over thirty years of experience in information technology projects, has written numerous articles, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. His work experience spans roles from Programmer to Chief Information Officer and Chief Executive Officer. He recently published a project management book, “The Art of Installation and The Science of Implementation.”

Sharon Davis is a project manager with AmeriPath, a subsidiary of Quest Diagnostics a leader in dermatopathology and anatomic pathology. Ms. Davis has over twenty years of information technology experience; and specializes in healthcare information technology project management for wireless and internet-based solutions.

Kathleen Catalano is a director in Perot Systems’ Clinical Solutions Center. Ms. Catalano’s responsibilities focus on the areas of patient safety, risk management, medical staff and JCAHO and CMS preparedness where she enhances Perot Systems’ approach to managing complex clinical content and regulations. Ms. Catalano authors and assists in the writing of articles and white papers that showcase Perot Systems’ Clinical Solutions Center. She also speaks on Joint Commission, Joint Commission’s National Patient Safety Goals, Risk Management (Sentinel Events and FMEA) and the EMR/EHR.

Robin Turton has worked in healthcare outsourcing for the last seven years. Ms. Turton's experience includes assisting legal departments, customers and healthcare providers with information technology, health information management and other healthcare related contracts and documents. She also works in the compliance and regulatory arena assisting in the development and implementation of corporate compliance programs. She has been a member of DFW HIMSS for the past three years.

Jim Aragon is the CEO of Quail Networks, a leading provider of document management software for the health care industry. Mr. Aragon has over twenty years experience as a computer programmer. Prior to entering the software industry, he worked as a professional composer/arranger in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Credits include the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, headliner shows at the Las Vegas Hilton, national Broadway touring companies, and various recording sessions for radio, television and film.

Robin Raiford is an RN with 31 years of nursing experience and has been in the healthcare informatics field for 16 years. She has extensive experience, both as a clinician using an electronic medical record, a consultant, a CIS project manager, and a product specialist. She has had a totally "WAY out of the box" career as she has had an informatics role at the Smithsonian, been one of the many consultants for the Department of Defense on an world wide electronic medical record, and was the first informatics nurse at Microsoft.

Tim Study is currently a Healthcare Executive for IBM's Healthcare and Life Sciences Division, he works with senior level clients in the healthcare space. Tim has over twenty five years of experience in the Healthcare market, he has worked with Microsoft as the US Business Development Manager for Health and Human Services with VHA, a large health care alliance as an Information Technology Consultant, and spent many years with Digital Equipment Corporation in their Healthcare Industry Group.

Nayan Patel is the corporate manager of Portfolio Management for Baylor Health Care Information Services (IS). Patel established the IS Portfolio Management and oversees project management and reporting tools, time reporting, and project governance. In addition, he developed architectural view of the Baylor clinical infrastructure including departmental logical work flows and physical layer view of all system interfaces.

Dr. Goyal is currently the Director of Health Informatics at Electronic Data System (EDS) Corporation. As the director of healthcare informatics for EDS’ U.S. Veterans Affairs portfolio he is responsible for establishing the strategic direction in areas of health informatics, electronic health record global strategy, best practice sharing, industry expertise, and enterprise business transformation. As a recognized leader and subject matter expert on process re-engineering for healthcare and electronic health records interoperability, Goyal often serves as an author, panelist and public speaker in areas such as patient medical records and effective EHR institutionalization and utilization.

Laura Pyle is the Vice President of Technology Services for Primus Innovations, an organization that uses robotic automation to bring safety, precision and cost efficiency to the production of cytostatic compounding. She is responsible for the implementation and support of CytoCare, a robotic system that automates the dangerous and error prone preparation of cytostatic infusions, safely, accurately, efficiently and reliably.

Prior to joining Primus Innovations, Laura was an Associate Partner with IBM Business Consulting Services. She was responsible for selling and delivering IBM Business Consulting Services in the DFW market, targeting specific provider accounts. In this role she served as a client executive, project leader, and consultant maintaining responsibility for the overall quality of services.

Faye Lindsay is a product marketing leader in EDS’ Integrated Applications Industry for healthcare, financial services and government. She is responsible for identifying and providing business technology enablement solutions ranging from application strategy development through implementation and engagement management. In her role, she works closely with the sales and industry teams to identify opportunities and ensure successful delivery of the solutions to the providers.
